Our Purpose:             Guiding Principles

Glorify God Our purpose is to glorify God and His Name through our actions, our worship, and our lives. Our actions will be to the edification of people through works, teaching, training, and communication. Our worship will be fervent, real, free and focussed. Our lives will reflect Christ as we are continually transformed into His image.

Reproduce- Our purpose is to reproduce believers through aggressive evangelism utilizing acts of grace which reflect the love of God, teaching, worship, the fruit of the Spirit, and the Gifts of the Spirit. Our teaching will help develop every disciple into an everyday testimony of Christ through the development of the fruit of the Spirit in their lives. Our worship will cause believers to become contagious with life, making them carriers of life to the unbelieving. Our faith will bring about notable miracles through the Holy Ghost and a flow of the gifts of the Spirit. Our acts will show forth the unconditional love and unmerited favor of God.

Establish the Kingdom- Our purpose is to establish the Kingdom of God in our Jerusalem, Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth through living Spirit filled lives with boldness being unmovable in our belief and unshakable in our drive toward our destiny for the prize of the high calling of Christ Jesus. We will follow the Word of God with accuracy, integrity, and sound principals as to its infallible truth and inerrancy.

Destroy the works of the devil- Our purpose is to destroy the works of the devil through a constant quest for personal excellence in our body, soul, and spirit that we might have a clean heart before God keeping our relationships with Him and man in a position of equity through prayer and action. Our prayer will be without ceasing remembering to pray for all men everywhere. We will resist the devil by continual actions in the natural and spiritual realms that promote the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

• The Bible is the infallible Word of God and is inerrant in its truth and history.
• The Bible will be the only reliable source of teaching for the church. Any other materials used for the education and edification of its members must submit to Biblical authority.
• There is one God as found in the Bible and as reflected in His many Biblical Names.
• Jesus Christ is the only way to obtain salvation. One must believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus was crucified for their sins, died, was buried, and rose again the third day to be their personal Lord and Savior.
• All men, no matter their situation or belief, have the rite to salvation if they choose. God would that all men would be saved.
• Believers should be baptized by full submersion as soon as possible after salvation as a symbol of what they believe.
• Communion is a rite for every believer and should be participated in as often as possible.
• The baptism in the Holy Ghost is for today and is available to all men with the principal evidence being a powerful witness for Christ and will be accompanied with speaking in other tongues as a prayer language.
• The Gifts of the Spirit are for the church today and should be practiced freely under Scriptural context and guidelines.
• God heals today and Elders will lay hands on the sick (at the sick persons request) anointing them with oil according to James 5.
• Gods people are to be prosperous in every thing they attempt.
• People are the most important asset to the ministry outside of the Word of God.
• Benevolence will take precedence over all other expenditures.
• Elders will have displayed a ministry gift and must meet the guidelines as stated in 1 Timothy 3. They will be ordained openly for life or until they resign their position or fail to maintain the Biblical standard.
• Deacons will be ordained for the performance of duties under Acts 6 and qualifications of 1 Timothy 3.
• Worship will be freely expressed under any form so long as it has Biblical foundation to support the manner of expression.
• The Pastor is an office of leadership within the body and is responsible to serve the body, not be served by the body.
• The Body is a collective form of leadership within the community; therefore our actions will serve the community under Christian principals.
• Everyone in the body is called to perform some manner of ministry and has unique and special giftings from God for the service of the body as a whole.
• All things including worship services, Sunday School, activities, and special events will be conducted decently and in order.
• Open sin by a member, Elder, or deacon will be dealt with according to Matthew 18:15-20 and 1 John 5:14-20.
• Ministries may be started by any member with the approval of the Pastor or Elders. All ministries must have evangelistic opportunities, edifying content, Biblical security, decency, and morality.
• The principal support of the church will be tithes and offerings received from members or any other interested persons or organizations. Fund raisers for special activities, events, or outings will not be excluded so long as they are not taxing to the members or manipulative in nature or presentation.
