![]() Missions Central was started out of the hearts of missions minded people. It is here for missionaries from all denominational backgrounds. Dan and Ellen Fitch, 9 year veteran missionaries from Albania head up the program. They are tough minded and have a heart for the missionary in the field. They know what it takes to succeed on a foreign field. If you would like to reach them and ask questions about their missions program please write to them at the link below. We support independent missionaries going to Turkey, Mexico, and Albania. Our mission program is called "Missions Central". The goal of Missions Central is to pull together individual missionaries from around the world to form a union of independent missionaries who share a common purpose and support mechanism without losing their autonomous position. We want to reach the four corners of the world with the Gospel of Jesus who is the Christ. We want to reach them with real saving and delivering faith. Missionaries are the frontlines of the Church. The great thing about God is that He made us all missionaries of one sort or another. Some have a special calling to leave their homeland and go to another culture or country. These are the ones that need the full support of the church. They are really carrying out the heartbeat of God. Most of the time they have no choice but to believe God. Our job at Missions Central is to support them with anything they need. Mostly prayerful support. We will also support them by taking care of some of their physical needs. Things like sending out mailings to their supporters or counseling while on the field. We want to provide secure access central source for funding to come into. We will give them pastoral support and a source for information about anything. One of our main missionary outreaches is a school for gypsy children in Albania called "Ellen's School". Her gypsy children of all ages gain the opportunity to learn to read and write as well as to find out who Jesus is. Gypsies in Eastern Europe are not permitted to send their children to public schools and most gypsy children aren't wanted in any of the "normal" social circles. The young gypsy girls are sold into pornography or prostitution and slavery at a very early age. They are abused and exploited by their families as well as the people of their countries. The gypsies are a culture within a culture.
Ellen Fitch decided to start an outreach to these children when serving as a missionary in Albania. Everyone told her it was no use and that they weren't worth it. Gypsy children are taught not to trust anyone. Ellen took the risk and slowly developed relationships with many of the street children. She began to rescue them and teach them simple things most of us take for granted. The school is now being administered by Albanian nationals and has enrollment of over 80 students. There are five class sessions per day and they are now out of space which has caused them to have to turn children away. Efforts are on the way to secure a larger facility so the school can expand. If you would like to help with this project you may send donations to Messiah Community Church "Missions Central" at the church address. 100% of all donations go directly to the school. For more information you may e-mail Ellen at missionscentral@messiahcommunity.org. Dan & Ellen's web page FITCH@pobox.com Mike and Becky Kuelker are missionaries to Tepec, Mexico ministering to the Weuchol Indians. They currently are running three Bible schools for pastors and church workers. This ministry is very effective in reaching the people of western central Mexico. They have seen many to a relationship with Christ. Their work has dramatically changed the churches of the region who have come to rely upon the Kuelker's for Bible training, spiritual guidance and administrative needs.
Mike and Becky take in ministry teams for week long ministry opportunities doing real missions work and not just a vacation to Mexico. Their ministry visitors do hands on labor and ministry to real people in need. If you would like to reach Mike and Becky you can write to them at makuelker@yahoo.com. |
